University of Houston – Science Research Building

BEAM Professionals and the PBK design team have been working with the University of Houston for several years on the design and constructibility of its Science Research Building 1 for several years. BEAM and PBK Design have successfully completed a design which would complement the surrounding UH buildings as well as maintain the historical assets of the Science Research Building-1. The project scope of work is a full re-skin of the entire 7-story building which includes detailed architectural components, curtain wall windows, and stained-glass components. The design has since been accepted and currently construction documents are being completed and finalized. Once the project kicks off, PBK architects will be running construction administration on this 7-story building.
