Deferred Maintenance of Campus-Wide Roof Assessment

BEAM Professionals began conducting a campus-wide roof assessment in October 2019. The project consists of an on-site evaluation and a written assessment of each of the existing building roof areas at Campus:

• Mid-Valley, NAHC, Starr County. Upon completion of the initial assessment, BEAM will produce a scope of work for each roof area and present it to the college. Once all parties agree as to which roofs need immediate attention, BEAM will design and finalize the roof repair and/or replacement construction documents. All roofs which require regular maintenance will be given to the college in a report for their facilities department. BEAM Professionals will assist the college in the procurement phase and assist with selecting the best valued contractor for the projects. BEAM will also conduct construction administration during the construction phase and assist in close out documents and warranty phases.
