Great Southwest Building Assessment

PBK Architects and BEAM Professionals were hired to conduct a comprehensive building evaluation of a historical building located in downtown Houston. The intent of the evaluation was to bring our expert advice on the feasibility of converting the current office building into a luxury hotel. Armed with PBK architects, LEAF engineers and BEAM building envelope consultants, the team walked the 22-story building, documented any deficiencies and prepared our professional recommendations to convert the office building into a 217-room hotel. Due to the overall size and weather conditions the team faced, this project was completed within 4 weeks.
